Junior Chemist

Responsibilities

• Control the consistency and uniformity of finished products against batch card requirements
• Maintain quality control records to comply with QHSE standards
• Perform formula entry and batch card printing
• Manage production batches control and stock code creation
• Conduct raw material (RM) testing
• Issue batch certificates and manage the filing of batch cards
• Propose ideas to reduce batch variances and improve First Time Right (FTR%) percentages
• Support the 6S plan within the laboratory

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
• 2 years of experience in a Quality Control Laboratory (paint manufacturing experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of raw materials and color management skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
• Experience using ERP systems
