About the role
Responsibilities
- Translate 2D concepts and reference images into 3D character models
- Build high-poly and low-poly models meeting artistic and technical expectations
- Create clean, animation-ready meshes following deformation guidelines
- Model clothing, props, accessories, and modular assets
- Unwrap models and produce efficient UV layouts
- Texture assets using physically based rendering workflows in Substance Painter
- Optimize assets to meet performance and technical requirements
- Apply feedback from experienced artists to refine asset quality
- Follow team tools, workflows, and pipeline standards
Requirements
- Portfolio showcasing 3D character work, including anatomy and texturing
- Understanding of human anatomy, proportions, and facial structure
- Knowledge of clothing construction, fabric behavior, and folds
- Working level proficiency in ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter, and Marmoset Toolbag
- Ability to match a defined artistic style
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to accept feedback
