Junior Buyer

Responsibilities

• Support the Category Manager in purchasing and managing a designated product portfolio to maximize sales and profit
• Manage product line assortment, forecast sales mix, and develop pricing strategies
• Utilize Power BI and Excel to manage large data sets and drive data-driven decision-making
• Identify growth and savings opportunities through market trends and competitor analysis
• Manage demand and promotional planning to ensure optimal inventory levels
• Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and store operations to execute successful campaigns
• Maintain price and product specification accuracy within company systems

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in retail buying or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas) and database knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Power BI
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
