Junior Back-Office Officer

Responsibilities

• Apply internal due diligence processes to monitor business relationships and detect risks such as money laundering or bribery
• Communicate due diligence results and recommendations to senior management
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for compliance checks
• Document and process Internal Suspicious Activity Reports for the General Counsel and Group Head of Compliance
• Maintain essential compliance registers and provide regular reports to senior management
• Ensure all compliance-related data is accurate and up-to-date within the CRM system
• Escalate significant compliance concerns or contentious matters to leadership
• Participate in internal and external audit reviews and promote a robust compliance culture

Requirements

• Full fluency in both verbal and written English and Mandarin is essential
• Keen attention to detail and strong interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience or proficiency in compliance principles and regulations
