Junior Audiovisual Systems Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for digital production systems within broadcast environments.
• Participate in second-level incident resolution and troubleshooting.
• Collect data and logs to assist higher-level support teams during investigations.
• Perform installation of patches, updates, and both preventive and corrective maintenance on production systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Systems, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
• Understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and SNMP.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure and audiovisual schemes.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in English (medium/high level) for written and spoken communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with storage technologies (NAS, SAN).
• Familiarity with broadcast platforms such as Dalet Galaxy or Avid.
• Experience managing network switches (Cisco, Dell, Enterasys, etc.).
• Knowledge of professional audio and video equipment, including digital consoles and synchronization.
• Experience using ticketing and incident management platforms.
