Junior Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies for various components using specific technical tools and methods
• Identify alternative technical solutions to suggest to the sales department when initial studies are not feasible
• Create installation drawings, assembly drawings, and technical data sheets
• Participate in product development workgroups and gates
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to service, production, quality, and purchasing
• Respond to technical inquiries from customers
• Implement and manage technical modifications and updates
• Create and modify CAD models and drawings in compliance with company standards
• Manage and update Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Interface with R&D teams to share and integrate technical solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• 2 years of experience in similar roles within the mechanical or engineering industry
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS)
• Working knowledge of CREO and Windchill
• Knowledge of mechanical production processes and technical safety standards
• Fluency in both Italian and English
• Willingness to travel between 10% and 20% (including travel between Padova and Arco sites)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
