Junior Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an Agile development team to support and modernize business and financial enterprise applications
• Develop new features, enhance existing capabilities, and maintain applications across a modern technology stack
• Troubleshoot user-reported issues, resolve defects, and optimize application performance
• Design and implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions
• Manage and optimize Docker containers for efficient deployment and scalability
• Apply best practices for security, data integrity, and compliance
• Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-ups

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline plus 3 years of experience (or Master's with 1 year, or 7 years total experience)
• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Python
• Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, and CSS
• Experience troubleshooting application, infrastructure, and system integration issues
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to work between core hours of Monday-Friday, 10:00AM-2:00PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting business or financial applications in a secure environment
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with cloud or containerized environments (AWS, Docker)
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD
