Junior Accounting Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the Record to Report (R2R) process by preparing journal entries and performing subledger reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset subledgers through capitalization, disposals, depreciation, and related accounting processes.
• Manage intercompany transactions, corporate allocations, and consolidation activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including validating subledgers and posting adjustments.
• Reconcile and validate payroll accounting, including results and related journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, documentation standards, and financial control requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced student status in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Shared Services (internships and trainee roles included).
• Foundational knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).
• Fluency in both English and Spanish to support cross-regional operations.
• Ability to manage recurring monthly and quarterly deadlines with accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with fixed asset accounting.
• Experience working in a multi-entity or Global Shared Services environment.
• Familiarity with intercompany eliminations and corporate overhead allocations.
