About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping duties and prepare/reconcile ledgers
- Prepare, verify, and manage accounts payable
- Prepare monthly adjusting entries and ensure related party ledgers are updated
- Manage tax compliance, including computation and filing of tax returns in accordance with UAE VAT laws
- Secure financial information by completing regular database backups
- Initiate and manage the company's financial and accounting software
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in financial software such as Zoho or QuickBooks
- Working experience with ERP accounting software
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT, and tax laws
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple clients and meet strict deadlines
- Fluency in English
