Junior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare, record, and post journal entries for all business transactions
• Process and issue invoices and supporting documentation
• Manage petty cash operations and perform regular reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems
• Analyze financial information and identify potential issues
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with accounting software and financial systems
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lebanese tax regulations
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Professional accounting credentials
