Junior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Pass journal entries including purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and contra entries
• Maintain and update ledgers and books of accounts
• Handle invoice entry and billing records
• Manage petty cash and vouchers
• Assist in GST data preparation for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
• Support TDS and GST returns processes
• Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes
• Coordinate with senior accountants or CAs for compliance tasks

Requirements

• B.Com degree
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Tally ERP
• Knowledge of GSTR 3B, GSTR-1, and 2A reports
• Experience with journal entries and ledger maintenance
