Jr. Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform IT Support services to users onsite
• Use a ticketing system to manage support queries
• Maintain documentation and comply with organizational rules and guidelines
• Adhere to strict change control procedures

Requirements

• At least 1 year of IT experience (Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, or Systems Administration)
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and mobile device troubleshooting
• Support experience with Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like climbing stairs or kneeling
• Ability to travel periodically to customer office locations within the metropolitan area

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial industry experience with Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, FactSet, or CapIQ
• Experience working in an MSP environment
• Support experience with Sophos or similar endpoint threat management products
• Understanding of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with ConnectWise suite, Google Workspace, Box, Dropbox, Duo, Okta, or AirWatch
