Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost controls and monitor expenditures
  • Support the creation of pricing schedules for meals
  • Help source high-quality, local, sustainable, and organic ingredients
  • Assist in planning and executing seasonal and creative menus
  • Support purchasing and inventory management
  • Enforce food quality and safety standards
  • Ensure the safety of the physical kitchen and café space
  • Support in-house catering and special company events

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2 years of culinary leadership experience
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to comply with ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or certificate in culinary arts
  • High-volume production or catering experience
  • Ability to create innovative menus
  • Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments
