Jr Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure, end-to-end Kubernetes or Docker-based cluster and application lifecycles
• Work across multiple technology stacks using languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and GoLang
• Participate in software development using CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security and automation
• Implement DevSecOps best practices to ensure security is integrated at every stage of the development lifecycle
• Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate security checks and routine DevOps tasks
• Leverage AWS cloud services to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with internal teams to architect containerized solutions and cloud-native applications using GitOps principles

Requirements

• Active Top Secret with SCI clearance
• 2 years of experience with Kubernetes or Docker
• 2 years of experience developing web-based applications
• Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitLab
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing custom Helm Charts
• Knowledge of Service Mesh solutions such as Istio
• Experience with database development (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB)
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Maven, or Gradle
• Experience with Big Data or Data Visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau
