About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide HR and administrative support for the facility, covering labour relations, health and safety, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Coordinate the performance and attendance management cycle, including the preparation of corrective disciplinary action letters.
- Support recruitment processes for hourly and salaried employees in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Manage payroll processes for the client group, including processing payroll action files and reviewing summary reports.
- Assist in providing counsel on labour relations matters, including the interpretation and application of Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
- Investigate discrimination and harassment complaints and assist in resolving conflict situations.
- Support health, safety, and security programs, including managing Worker’s Compensation cases and JHSC matters.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar Human Resources role.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant employment legislation (Health & Safety, Employment Standards, Human Rights, etc.).
- Experience in labour relations, including exposure to handling grievances and CBA application.
- Fluency in English with excellent professional writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Montreal, Quebec.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-change environment.
- Strong proficiency with HRIS systems.
