Jr. Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare Quarterly and annual Municipal tax returns
• Prepare weekly FICA deposit reports and check requests
• Prepare Quarterly FICA returns and semi-weekly FET deposits
• Prepare and file Quarterly FET returns
• Process wire transfer requests for tax payments
• Perform Kentucky Municipal Tax - PosiTax reconciliations
• Process journal entries and state income tax payments
• Handle electronic filings of premium tax and assessments
• Manage copying, scanning, and filing of premium tax returns
• Prepare supporting documents for premium tax returns

Requirements

• BS in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related discipline
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Great Plains General Ledger
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in accounting or financial systems

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification is a plus
