Jr. Declassification Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, and make final recommendations on classified and unclassified records
• Perform second-tier reviews across various mediums including declassification, FOIA, and records management
• Adjudicate decisions on documents through independent research and application of policy guidance
• Recognize and protect sensitive information, including nuclear weapons and intelligence data
• Apply proper records management techniques to ensure the integrity of reviewed material
• Lead and coordinate training for new analysts and provide mentorship to junior staff
• Interact with government clients as necessary to support mission objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, International Affairs, Security Studies, or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, or 3-5 years of direct experience in declassification, FOIA, intelligence, or records management
• Active Top Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Proficiency in word-processing and integrated software applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail
