Jr. ACAS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze vulnerability scans using Tenable to ensure cybersecurity compliance
• Maintain IT security systems and protocols to protect against cyber-attacks and unauthorized intrusions
• Design and implement security measures for hardware, software, and network platforms
• Conduct continuous risk assessments of network hardware and information delivery systems
• Ensure cybersecurity infrastructure meets NERC, CIP, and FISMA standards
• Prepare and present technical reports to senior management regarding IT infrastructure and security status
• Assist in developing and communicating cybersecurity strategic plans and training

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience setting up, performing, and analyzing vulnerability scans with Tenable
• 0-3 years of knowledge in IT security software, hardware, cloud, and server-client suites
• Must meet one of the DoDM 8140 functional qualification requirements for System Administrator
• Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on NISSC II contracts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and mitigating network risks
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
