Journeyworker Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine layout and wiring
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely project completion
• Test electrical systems and components to identify issues and perform repairs or replacements
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate work

Requirements

• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training
• Valid electrician license or certification (Journeyworker's license)
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel out of town and stay overnight as required
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
