Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter A/B/Journeyman HVAC

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, gas fitting, and refrigeration work for modular structures
• Install and maintain water distribution, sanitary, propane, and fire suppression systems
• Assist with AC installation and recoveries
• Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, gas appliances, and HVAC equipment
• Use various power and hand tools including drills, saws, and torches
• Manage materials and maintain cleanliness of work areas and tool storage
• Comply with all OH&S requirements and trade-specific codes such as CSA B149.1 and National Plumbing Code

Requirements

• Journeyman certification or completed apprenticeship
• At least 5 years of plumbing experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor and lift up to 45 lbs
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations
• Ability to draw sketches to communicate technical details
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
