Journeyman Plumber

Responsibilities

• Install commercial and in-house produced plumbing assemblies into in-process HVAC equipment
• Review blueprints and specifications to ensure designs function as intended and maintain accurate drawings
• Maintain and repair plumbing, heating, air conditioning, compressed air lines, and vacuum systems
• Execute preventative maintenance programs for all facility plumbing and air-related equipment
• Assist in training and supervising junior employees and apprentices
• Perform plumbing inventory, order parts, and maintain detailed maintenance and safety documentation
• Provide technical assistance and emergency response services to existing facilities

Requirements

• Industrial Plumber Trade Certification
• 5th Period Apprentice or working towards a Red Seal Certificate
• Experience with routine maintenance operations
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of college, CEGEP, vocational, or technical training
