Requirements
Advanced HVAC diagnostic and repair skills, Experience with split systems up to 120 tons, Experience with RTUs up to 150+ tons and water source heat pumps, Knowledge of mini-splits, VRV/VRF, and CRAC units, Knowledge of airside systems including VAV, fan powered boxes, and air handlers, Understanding of pumps, piping, strainers, and flow control, Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb service ladders, Ability to work in various weather conditions, Good standing with local union 211 or willingness to join

About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including split systems, chillers, and rooftop units
- Coordinate work processes and provide on-site leadership for large projects
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and gauges for troubleshooting and planned maintenance
- Build customer relationships by explaining completed work and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain clear communication and documentation with project stakeholders
- Serve as a technical resource, guide technicians, and coordinate multi-technician service calls
- Participate in on-call standby rotation and manage tasks under pressure
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain tools, service vehicle, and inventory
- Manage material purchasing and service vehicle stock efficiently
