Journeyman HVAC Installer

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems according to specifications, including ductwork, compressors, and other components
• Install refrigeration systems, run copper, brazing, and hanging pipe
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Diagnose malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
• Work collaboratively with apprentices and other team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Adhere to safety protocols and local building codes
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand HVAC needs and provide solutions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized HVAC training program or equivalent work experience
• Valid HVAC Journeyman's license or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation and service
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and duct design
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
