About the role
Responsibilities
- Install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems according to blueprint designs and manufacturer specifications
- Perform duct and sheet metal installation, refrigeration, copper, pipefitting, and brazing
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to complete installations within timelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system malfunctions and issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and local building codes
- Communicate with clients to assess needs and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent experience
- 10-20 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and service work
- Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation components
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
