Journeyman HVAC Installer

Responsibilities

• Sheet metal, spiral duct, and square duct installation
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
• Work with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of installations
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials and refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

Requirements

• Valid HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent years of experience
• 2-5 years of experience in HVAC system installation and service
• Possession of tools: Sawzall, cordless drill, snips, hammer
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigeration, and electrical components
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions
