Journeyman HVAC Installer

Responsibilities

• Install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, ductwork and refrigeration systems based on specifications
• Provide thorough maintenance and repair services for HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately
• Collaborate with project managers and apprentices to ensure timely completion of projects
• Stay current with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines
• Communicate with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide expert recommendations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid HVAC Journeyman license or significant equivalent experience
• 10 years of experience in HVAC installation and service
• Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and residential/commercial equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor with clients
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
