Journeyman HVAC

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Honeywell Enterprise Building Integrator (EBI) DDC systems and related mechanical equipment
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery including motors, engines, pumps, belts, fans, air handling units, and VAV boxes
• Maintain safe operation of electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, oil/gas fired water tube boilers, and auxiliary equipment
• Perform complex installation and calibration of temperature and environmental control systems, including air conditioning plants and specialized refrigerated warehouses
• Serve as a Site Subject Matter Expert (SME) to recommend operational procedures and facility reliability improvements
• Execute complex repairs on compressors, condensers, heat pumps, regulators, and various fluid/refrigerant gas lines and valves
• Maintain specialized laboratory equipment such as fume hoods, de-ionized water systems, and vacuum systems

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC Mechanic experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 45 lbs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance
