Journeyman Forensic Accountant

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, review, and produce large amounts of electronically stored information (ESI) for internal and external investigations and legal proceedings.
• Preserve vital data properties including metadata, time stamps, and change logs to maintain an electronic chain of custody.
• Solve complex problems by following accounting procedures and evaluating controls associated with business processes.
• Conduct research and analysis using open-source information, national/international databases, and corporate filings to produce professional summaries.
• Analyze financial and business records to support federal investigations and prosecutions using criminal investigative tools.

Requirements

• Active and maintained Top Secret (TS) Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Five (5) years of overall workforce experience.
• Three (3) years of experience performing forensic or financial investigative accounting work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a law enforcement agency.
• Experience working on federal government case investigations.
