Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical components including panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting
• Installing conduit and wire and terminating conductors
• Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on industrial equipment and systems
• Ordering required parts and controlling job materials using computer systems
• Completing work orders per client specifications and reviewing with customers
• Maintaining a clean work area and proactively preparing for upcoming work

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional sectors
• Valid state Journeyman Electrician license preferred
• Experience with conduit runs 1/2" - 2" (EMT, GRC, PVC Coated, and S/S)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex industrial installations
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls
• Working knowledge of electrical codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs and email
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification
