Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install electrical components including panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting
• Install conduit and wire and terminate conductors
• Troubleshoot circuitry and replace damaged components on industrial equipment and systems
• Order required parts and control job materials using computer systems
• Complete work orders per client specifications and review with customers
• Maintain a clean work area and proactively prepare for upcoming work
• Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional sectors
• Experience with conduit runs 1/2" - 2" (EMT, GRC, PVC Coated, and S/S)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex industrial installations
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls
• Working knowledge of electrical codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs, email, and time entry
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid state Electrician license
• OSHA 10 certification
