Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems required to support heat pump installations
• Calculate electrical loads and upgrade main electrical panels as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Ensure compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards
• Test electrical systems for functionality and efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline the installation process

Requirements

• Extensive residential retrofit experience
• Journeyman or Licensed electrician status
• Knowledge of SMART panels, splitters, and sub-panels to optimize upgrades
• Familiarity with modern residential electrical building codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong knowledge of electrical power and hand tools
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
• Valid driver's license
