Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install required electrical to support heat pump installs
• Calculate electrical loads
• Upgrade main electrical panels as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Test electrical systems for functionality and efficiency

Requirements

• Extensive residential retrofit experience
• Journeyman or Licensed electrician
• Knowledge of SMART panels, splitters, and sub-panels
• Familiarity with modern residential electrical building codes
• Proficiency with electrical power and hand tools
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Physical stamina for manual labor
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass MVR and pre-employment screening
• Knowledge of OSHA Electrical and LOTO standards
