Journeyman Electrician I

Responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of electrical circuitry, including motors, control panels, and PLC operated machinery
• Maintain heating units, lighting, and other electrical operations across Yankee Candle facilities
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics
• Work independently to complete assigned projects using clear judgment and initiative

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Valid Massachusetts State Journeyman Electrician license (required)
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to work the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10 PM–6 AM)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical work on production equipment in a commercial or industrial environment
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
