Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install, connect, test, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment
• Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes for compliance
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and implement repairs
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to coordinate schedules and safety
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and electrical codes

Requirements

• Proven experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations
• Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Effective communication skills for team and client collaboration
• Physical ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials
