Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations of equipment in manufactured buildings adhering to plans and specifications
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems through troubleshooting and repair
• Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability
• Read and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, electrical schematics, and service manuals
• Utilize various electrician tools and techniques for installations and repairs
• Adhere to all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements

• Formal electrician training in a Journeyman schooling program
• Valid and active Colorado Journeyman Electrician License
• Proficiency with electrician tools and techniques
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and perform tasks like standing or bending for extended periods
• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Valid OSHA 10 certification
• Knowledge of specific electrical codes and regulations
• Experience with PLC programming or automation systems
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment
