About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and solar energy systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local codes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to OSHA and SST regulations
Requirements
- Experience with Solar Energy systems and technology is required
- Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics effectively
- OSHA and SST certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-voltage systems
