Journeyman Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, siding, cabinetry, doors, and fixtures
• Perform trim carpentry tasks including molding, baseboards, and window casings
• Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, and metal stud framing
• Conduct restoration tasks such as water damage remediation, plastering, and mold remediation
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and power tool protocols
• Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or carpentry
• Strong understanding of framing, trim carpentry, roofing, masonry, and restoration
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
• Familiarity with water damage restoration, caulking, and drywall finishing
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC machinery experience
• Experience in the restoration industry, manufacturing, or remodeling
