About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach senior journalism students within the Journalism in Sports, Culture and Social Justice Department
- Coach students through all stages of visual video storytelling, including pre-production, production, and post-production
- Assess student work to inform instructional methods and provide grading
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a media-related field (e.g., Journalism, Media Arts, Fine Arts, Communications, or Educational Technology)
- Proven work experience in the media industry
- Experience teaching or training students
- Comprehensive knowledge of all multimedia production phases
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of a Master’s degree in a media-related field
- Experience developing learning modules or curriculum
- Commitment to the mission of Morehouse College regarding the intellectual and character development of Black men
