About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach senior journalism students within the Journalism in Sports, Culture and Social Justice Department
  • Coach students through all stages of visual video storytelling, including pre-production, production, and post-production
  • Assess student work to inform instructional methods and provide grading

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a media-related field (e.g., Journalism, Media Arts, Fine Arts, Communications, or Educational Technology)
  • Proven work experience in the media industry
  • Experience teaching or training students
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all multimedia production phases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of a Master’s degree in a media-related field
  • Experience developing learning modules or curriculum
  • Commitment to the mission of Morehouse College regarding the intellectual and character development of Black men
