Joint Fires Electromagnetic Warfare Planner

Responsibilities

• Support the Joint Fires Division in integrating Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) into planning efforts.
• Provide research and analysis of EW-related national security policies, military strategies, and capability integration.
• Assist with senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including the preparation of formal papers and background information for USINDOPACOM leaders.
• Support Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) to ensure mission assurance and freedom of action across the Indo-Pacific.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of documented Electromagnetic Warfare experience.
• 10 years of combined experience in EW operations, capability development, or policy.
• 3 years of experience at a Combatant Command or Service Component HQ.
• 3 years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations (AOR).
• Proven experience with targeting and joint fires to assist in executing EW operations.
• Familiarity with INDOPACOM Theater Campaign Plans (TCP), Deliberate/Crisis Action Plans, and OPLANs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of AI tools (e.g., GPT, GenAI, Python) in support of government objectives.
• Active Top-Secret clearance and SCI eligibility (US Citizenship required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree and/or attendance at Service Command and General Staff College.
• Experience coordinating with the Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, or INDOPACOM Service Components.
• Graduate of the Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Theater Operations Course.
• Graduate of the Joint Targeting Staff Course.
