JOCC Operations Controller

Responsibilities

• Coordinate network operations at the Jetstar Operations Control Centre (JOCC)
• Monitor aircraft movements and maintain schedule integrity across AU/NZ networks
• Communicate timely and accurate information across JOCC stakeholders
• Coordinate with Maintenance Operations regarding off-schedule implications
• Manage operational requirements during disruptions and communicate with downline ports
• Ensure safety and security compliance with Jetstar policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Customer Recovery Team regarding customer flow during disruptions

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in airline operations
• Understanding of relevant aviation legislation
• Ability to deliver in demanding, time-sensitive environments
• Resilience and ability to cope under pressure
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• High attention to detail
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation or Engineering Management
