Job Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor workforce development services including internships, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training for program participants.
• Provide individualized job development, training, and career advancement services to align with participant goals.
• Collaborate with local employers, workforce development agencies, and training providers to identify employment opportunities.
• Execute and monitor agreements with employers and participants for various work experience programs.
• Actively network and utilize marketing strategies to create a diverse menu of employment opportunities within the community.
• Support participants in attaining training and credentials by collaborating with employers to identify required skills.
• Maintain accurate data entry for all participant contacts in the State of NH New HEIGHTS system.
• Conduct regular outreach to participants and employers to ensure program engagement and success.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer competency, including email, word processing, and internet research.
• Valid New Hampshire driver's license and access to transportation for regional and statewide travel.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and participant confidentiality.
• Ability to meet or exceed performance goals in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field.
• Equivalent professional work experience in marketing or the job development process.
