Job Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor workforce development services, including internships, apprenticeships, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs.
• Provide individualized job development, career counseling, and job preparation services to program participants.
• Collaborate with local employers, workforce agencies, and training providers to identify employment opportunities.
• Actively network and utilize marketing strategies to create a diverse menu of employment opportunities within the community.
• Support participants in attaining training and credentials by working with employers to identify required skills.
• Maintain accurate participant data and contact records in the State of NH New HEIGHTS system.
• Conduct regular outreach to both active participants and employer partners.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer competency, including email, word processing, and internet research.
• Valid New Hampshire driver's license and access to reliable transportation for regional travel.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and participant confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Program Management.
• Equivalent professional work experience in marketing or the job development process.
