Job Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor workforce development services including internships, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training (OJT) programs.
• Provide individualized job development, career counseling, and job preparation services to program participants.
• Collaborate with local employers, workforce agencies, and training providers to identify employment and training opportunities.
• Execute and monitor agreements with employers and participants for work experience and community service programs.
• Actively network and utilize marketing strategies to create a diverse menu of employment opportunities within the community.
• Maintain accurate participant data and contact logs in the State of NH New HEIGHTS system.
• Support participants in attaining training and credentials by working with employers to identify required skills.
• Perform regular outreach to participants and employers to ensure program engagement and success.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Equivalent professional work experience in marketing or job development may be considered.
• Valid New Hampshire driver's license.
• Access to reliable transportation for regional and statewide travel.
• Basic computer competency, including email, word processing, and internet research.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
