JMPS Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the patented Johnson Matthey Production System (JMPS) to ensure a comprehensive toolkit is available for deployment.
• Implement JMPS at the plant level according to defined implementation plans.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses within deployment plans to provide appropriate support.
• Train and coach teams on the use of JMPS tools to drive continuous performance improvement.
• Capture and share best practices across various plants to ensure organizational growth.
• Act as a role model for coaching culture and engage with all levels of the organization.
• Operate within a complex manufacturing environment involving multiple shifts, lines, and products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related Operational Engineering field.
• 2 years of related work experience.
• 1 year of experience as a subject matter expert on production systems within a manufacturing environment.
• 1 year of experience in KPI and data analysis.
• 1 year of experience with Quick Changeover (SMED) and developing standard work for manufacturing processes.
• 1 year of experience providing coaching to team members.
• Proficiency in SAP Production Module, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with 5S methodology to support production planning and process improvement.
