JIT Purchasing Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee material delivery performance, inventory management, and logistics to meet customer demands.
• Manage production support needs by expediting materials and addressing supply issues with minimal cost impact.
• Ensure on-time delivery targets are met while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning and Procurement teams to implement material cost reduction strategies.
• Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and management of excess/obsolete stock.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain department KPIs focusing on on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and transportation execution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency and supply chain performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in material management within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Deep familiarity with logistics, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP.
• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Management methodologies.
