Jira Developer/Administrator

Responsibilities

• Optimize workflows, manage user access, and maintain the health of Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence environments
• Customize complex Jira workflows, statuses, transitions, validators, and post-functions
• Manage Confluence space permissions, site structure, and content organization
• Administer Jira Service Management, including customer portals, automation rules, and Asset Object Schemas
• Maintain Jira Align connections to ensure programs meet business requirements
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and the developer community to support Naval projects

Requirements

• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in Atlassian tool administration (Jira and Confluence)
• Active SECRET US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Proficiency in writing complex JQL queries
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Valid Real ID driver's license and access to reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Groovy for Script Runner or using the Jira REST API
• Experience connecting Jira with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Relevant Atlassian certifications
