About the role
Responsibilities
- Define Quality Assurance (QA) requirements in technical specifications for aircraft assembly jigs, tools, and measurement systems
- Coordinate and lead QA measures with suppliers and monitor implementation
- Conduct product testing including acceptance, commissioning, and validation tests for standalone tooling and integrated industrial systems
- Manage end-to-end non-conformity during design, manufacturing, and commissioning phases, including root cause investigation and resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement robust measurement systems and evaluate uncertainty
- Evaluate and cascade geometric and dimensional tolerances to ensure tooling capabilities align with task specifications
- Provide production support for measurement and tolerancing issues and assist with non-conformity resolution
- Act as a technical expert for tender processes, contributing to subcontract specifications and scope of work statements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience implementing and utilizing measurement systems in manufacturing
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Strong understanding of tolerancing and metrology concepts and industrial applications
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
Preferred Qualifications
- Related technical certifications such as GD&T, Metrology, QA/QC, or CAD
- OSHA certifications
- Experience with Catia
- Experience with coordinate metrology software
