Jewish Life Associate

Responsibilities

• Strategically engage and maintain meaningful relationships with students
• Support leadership development and coach students in on-campus coalition-building
• Utilize student engagement data to direct outreach and recruitment efforts
• Develop new programming based on student feedback and interests
• Act as Hillel’s representative at DePaul to strengthen visibility and collaborate with administrators
• Partner with colleagues to help students explore their relationship to Israel
• Maintain social media presence for DePaul Hillel and monitor campus activity
• Collaborate with other Hillel staff to shape the mission of Metro Chicago Hillel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Past experience traveling or studying in Israel
• Experience working effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of Jewish community, culture, heritage, and traditions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in-person in Chicago, IL

• Passion for Jewish community, Judaism, and Israel
• Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take risks
• Dynamic personality and outstanding interpersonal skills
