Responsibilities

• Perform jewelry cleaning and prepare raw casted metal for pre-polishing
• Solder gold and platinum heads to rings using solder or laser work
• Size gold or platinum rings without leaving seams
• Repair pin holes, porosity, and cracks using laser metal or manual techniques
• Perform jewelry assembly including head half and full shanks, retipping prongs, and simple fabrication

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Proven jewelry repair experience
• Ability to complete a bench test for assessment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Consistent regular scheduled attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training in metal or jewelry programs
