Jet Engine Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting on quick turnaround jet engines
• Assist the hospital shop visit team (SPAH) with engine maintenance tasks
• Utilize technical manuals and service bulletins to guide repair processes
• Work collaboratively within an international team to meet maintenance goals

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a mechanic (e.g., automotive, forestry, or similar industrial fields)
• Strong manual dexterity and the ability to use tools correctly
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Fluency in English to read and interpret maintenance manuals
• Strong motivation to learn and build a career in aviation maintenance
• Ability to work flexibly with varying schedules
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the Finnish language is a plus
